Leawo Video Converter User Guide
Leawo Video Converter is a comprehensive media converter suite that includes HD video converter, audio converter, photo slideshow maker, video editor and 3D movie creator. It supports video and audio conversions between 180+ formats for almost all media players in the market. It even allows you to change video and audio parameters of output files. Via simple drag-and-drop, the photo slideshow inside Video Converter helps you easily create photo slideshow from photos in different formats. Note: VOB files on DVD are usually encrypted. To decrypt and convert DVD VOB movies, please use Leawo Blu-ray Ripper.

2D to 3D Conversion
Convert video and audio
Leawo Video Converter offers you practical solution to convert video and audio files between different formats for different uses. It’s quite simple to use.
Step 1 Add source media files
After download and installation, kick off Leawo Video Converter. Open the “Convert” tab, click the “Add Video” button to browse and add video/audio files, or directly drag and drop source video/audio files or folders for loading. After loading, you could play back loaded file, select subtitles and audio tracks, adjust conversion order, add more video files or delete loaded file, etc.
Step 2 Set output format
After loading, click the drop-down box before the big green “Convert” button and then select “Change” option to enter “Profile” panel, where you could select a format as output format.
Note: If you like, you could click the “Edit” option on the drop-down box of profile setting entry to enter the Profile Settings panel to edit video and audio parameters of selected format, including: video codec, quality, size, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio and audio codec, quality, bit rate, sample rate, channels, etc.
Step 3 Set output directory
Back to the main interface and click the big green “Convert” button to call out a sidebar, where you could set output directory in the “Save to” box.
Step 4 Start conversion
At last, click the “Convert” button on the sidebar to start converting video and audio files within this video converting software.
Create photo slideshow
With photo slideshow maker built in, Leawo Video Converter helps you easily create photo slideshow out of photos you’ve got on your computer, and then convert generated photo slideshow into 180+ different formats for different uses. This Video Converter software even allows you to edit generated photo slideshow.
Step 1 Add photo
Under the “Convert” module, click the “Add Photo” button to browse and add photo files, or directly drag and drop photo files/folders into this photo slideshow maker. Loaded photos would be automatically generated into photo slideshow. Play back generated photo slideshow if you need.
Step 2 Edit photo slideshow
Right click generated photo slideshow and then select “Edit” option, or directly click the big “Edit” icon in generated photo slideshow title to edit photo slideshow video and audio.
Under the “Video” tab, you could choose to add extra photos, delete/recorder existing photos, set photo duration, transition duration and effect, etc.
Under the “Audio” tab, you could choose to add background music, and set slideshow audio effect.
Step 3 Set output format
After editing generated photo slideshow, return to the main interface and then click the drop-down box before the big green “Convert” button and then select “Change” option to enter “Profile” panel, where you could select a format as output format for output photo slideshow.
Note: You could click the “Edit” option on the drop-down box of profile setting entry to enter the Profile Settings panel to edit video and audio parameters of selected format, including: video codec, quality, size, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, audio codec, audio quality, audio bit rate, sample rate, channels, etc.
Step 4 Set output directory
Go back to the main interface after setting output format, and click the big green “Convert” button. On the popup sidebar, set output directory in the “Save to” box.
Step 5 Output photo slideshow
Finally, click the bottom “Convert” button on the directory setting panel to start converting photo slideshow.
Edit videos
With the built-in video editor, Leawo Video Converter enables you to edit videos for customization. After loading source media files, right click loaded media file and then select “Edit” option, or directly click the “Edit” icon in loaded media file title to enter the video editing panel.
Trim video length
Under the “Trim” section, directly drag the slide button under the playbar to trim video, or modify values in "Start Time" and "End Time", the total Clip Length will be shown. Reset it or click "OK" to confirm it.
Add watermark
Under the “Watermark” section, slide “Watermark” option to green, and then choose to add Text or Image watermark as you like. You could even edit watermark parameters like changing the transparency and position, etc.
Crop video size
Open the “Crop” section. Drag the handlers of the frame on the left preview window, or modify the parameters below for an accurate result to crop video size and remove black margins. You could even rotate video for a special angle of view here.
Adjust video effect
Under the “Effect” tab, adjust video brightness, contrast, saturation and Volumezoom.
2D to 3D conversion
Leawo Video Converter comes with 2D to 3D converter that could help you create 3D movies out of 2D video files with 6 different 3D movie effects selectable: Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, and Side by Side. 3D Depth is also adjustable for more vivid 3D movie effect. On the video editing panel, open the “3D” section, slide “3D Mode” to green, select one 3D effect and adjust 3D Depth. The internal player shows you instant preview.
